By Melissa Kellerhals
i gave this ring 4 stars because it is so beautiful, but there is one thing i don't like about it and that is that the stone stands up a little higher off of the band so it has a tendency to get caught on things. if it wasn't for that i wouldn't have any complaints about it. its not too big and its very comfortable on my finger. it comes with a card that certifies it was made with real amber, and also gives you instructions on how to clean it. the company was very prompt in its shipping, so no complaints there. overall its a very nice to piece to add to your collection and i would recommend you give it a try :-)

By S. MA
I like the ring. The silver band is more white and shiny than pictured. The amber stone does not appear as proportionately large as pictured nor as honey-orange as pictured. The ring ban runs small compared to the flaming sun ring (also size 5, from the same merchant) I previously bought. I am size 5, but this marquise-shaped amber silver ring cannot fit my ring finger and I am afraid to exchange for a size 6 as it may be too big. I believe it is easier to expand the ring band just by a tiny bit without having to cut and reseal at a local jeweler instead of returning a ring I like. The amber stone appears darker than pictured, probably due to its narrower body that cannot allow much light to shine through (It is the same with my amber earrings, having smaller stones). If I hold the ring against my computer screen, the amber instantly turns lighter. The inside of the ring band has “925” marking. There is another marking, but too small to decipher. The amber setting, as another reviewer mentioned, does tilt up a bit. Since I haven't really worn it, I can't verify how easy it is for the amber setting to get caught.Overall, this is still a very pretty ring. After I refit it, I can foresee that I will wear it often. My only warning is the ring band runs small, but that can be easily fixed. A ring runs small is better than runs large as the latter is more inconvenient to fix. Of course, having a perfect-fit size is better.
