Gorgeous

I ordered two of these pendants recently, and they are absolutely gorgeous. The photo doesn't do them justice. The detail on the sunburst rays is delicate and lovely, and the amber is smooth and beautifully flecked. It's so pure, it seems to glow. It's also very nicely sized- about as big around as a Susan B. Anthony dollar- this is not a pendant that will disappear on your neck! What an absolutely gorgeous piece!

Disappointed

After reading the other reviews on this necklace I was very disappointed to open the box and find what I can only descibe as a cheap looking necklace. The chain is so light and cheap it could have come from a trinket in a gum machine. It is NOT sterling silver. The pendant itself is okay-it is silver but mine certainly doesn't "glow". It's kind of a dull brownish orange color. It came boxed (without the customary cotton lining and in a garrish cheap red bag. Since this is a Mother's Day gift I didn't have time to return it. I switched the chain for a real silver one that I had, threw away the bag and box and used a simple white box I already had. I would never recommend this necklace. It should be priced in the $20.dollar price range!
