Ok, I'll admit that I thought the first 5 parents who told me to get amber for my son's teething were new age hippies, but after 6 months of watching my dribbling son in total misery, I was desperate. It was a joke around our family that we could hold our son over the basil in our backyard to water it: he drooled so much.We bought this figuring that $16 isn't a bad shot in the dark to try and assuage our 15 month old's misery. For the first two weeks that he wore the necklace, we didn't really notice much of a difference. I just kept putting it on after bath time out of habit (because he looks pretty doggone handsome when he wears it.) After a few weeks, we finally noticed there was a huge decrease in the drool. We would usually go through 3-5 shirts or bibs in a day, he was drooling so much. That was step one to my conversion. Step two was last week when I was brushing his teeth and noticed he'd popped out an incisor AND a molar with barely a sleepless night. Umm, wow. That was enough for me. I learned about these necklaces from a girl on youtube (xxxjoelpolexxx) and a few other of my friends and was very skeptical. I thought there was no way necklace could help my son's teething. My son is just now getting his first tooth at 7 months old, after started teething since he was 2 months old. He was the drooliest and crankiest baby up until after wearing the necklace for about 2 weeks. Then there was a definet change...he was less drooly, he started sleeping through the night, and he was SO SMILEY! Just like his old self! I LOVE THIS NECKLACE! I have had a couple girlfriends have babies and i bought them alll one for their showers.

Purchased an amber necklabce for my youngest son. It really did seem to calm him. Even if it was a sugar pill, it made me feel better knowing it might be helping him - and it looked adorable to boot. Good quality and never worried about safety. Bought two more for a friend with twins.
