very nice

my baby doesn't seem to notice the necklace. it looks very nice, but we bought it of course to help with teething, not because of how it looks. It looks just like the picture--Each amber bead is a nice size. Another baby amber necklace we boughts beads were tiny, and the necklace didn't hang very nicely. --i prefer the larger beads because there is more amber there to help with the teething. so far so good! i much prefer having her wear this knowing it will reduce her discomfort than waiting until she's miserable and having to then consider options.

I'm a believer

I was pretty skeptical that these would work. However my son is noticeably more comfortable when wearing them! If I forget to put the necklace on, he is a lot more irritable and he actually starts hitting/playing with his mouth. He has never pulled or tugged on the necklace...doesn't even realize they are there. He's now had this necklace for over 6 months. He just cut his 1 year molars and we never had a sleepless night! YAY!!!!

I think Amazon sent me a new baby!!

To be completely honest, I was skeptical about how effective these beads would be in reducing my son's teething symptoms, but I was desperate! For the last week my 5 month old has been waking up every 45 minutes - an hour SHRIEKING like we were trying to cut is toes off with gardening shears, and there was little that we could do to console him. Tylenol, orajel, cuddles, boob, more orajel, more cuddles, passing back and forth between my husband and me, bringing him to bed with us, more boob...nothing seemed to be working! Not to mention the massive amounts of drool this kid was putting out on an hourly basis. However, once the necklace arrived I put it on him right away and within probably half an hour all fussiness dissipated from the atmosphere, leaving behind the calm, happy Zeddicus we all know and love. But still, I wasn't sure if it could be attributed to the necklace, or if he was just in a good mood. Then I realised there was no "witching hour" (that time between 5 pm and bath time that seems like an eternity of crying and general pissed-offedness emanating from my otherwise playful little boy). Then came the real challenge: getting dressed after bath time, which again, seems like an eternity as I struggle to get those little arms into the sleeves of his sleep sacks. To my delighted surprise, instead of screaming at me, he LAUGHED at me. That has NEVER happened...EVER!!! After all this, I was still a little shocked that some simple beads would make such a remarkable difference in his mood and behavior, so I decided to hold off on giving my review until I saw how the night went. Finally, he was back to his usual waking every three hours or so to eat, then right back to sleep. I got so much sleep, I didn't know what to do with myself! So overall, I would say that this necklace is the best $20 (give or take) that I have ever spent! I am actually planning to buy some raw beads to make some necklaces for myself! Gotta give Mother Nature her props on this one!Also, good quality overall, timely delivery, and fairly decent price. I am one satisfied little lady! :)
