Looks fantastic, but not-so-comfortable to wear

I got this ring to add some bling when I'm selling honey at farmers' market. The ring looks great, exactly like the picture. Mine fits me exactly how a ring should fit, not too loose or snug.The problem with this ring is that its uncomfortable to wear because its sharp and cuts against the skin. The sterling is thin at the bottom of the hoop. Its also thin at the top, where the gem sets on the silver, like two rails on each side of the amber, hollow underneath. The bottom of the ring and these two rails really start to bite after a while, even on a ring that fits correctly.
