I was a little suspicious about the affect of this item but thought I would give it a shot....anything is worth trying for a little one teething...Pro's1.The color is dark....much darker then the picture almost black so It looks great on my little man. I continuously get compliments from friends commenting on his "necklace" Little did they know it has a intent purpose.2.Easy to secure3.Perfect size for babies neck4.Most importantly...It works! My little one cut his first tooth this week and we have been wearing it for the past three weeks. I've noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference on his level of discomfort and crankiness.5. Stones are very dull and round so no poking or irritating babies skin.Con's1. A little expensive2. I've heard you need to replace this product every six months because the stones loose there potency....we shall see!

my baby hasnt been born yet so i cant comment on effectiveness, but i have several friends who all use amber teething necklaces and say that it helps their child. i hadnt seen the green amber anywhere else and really wanted to get this one for our baby boy since its a little more masculine. when i received it in the mail it was a very light green, more yellowy in fact. i contacted the seller and she said that the green amber comes in different shades and she had no problem exchanging it for a darker one. she was very pleasant and this really isnt any hassle for me. she just wants everyone to have what will make them happy :) it may be useful if you have a shade preference to contact the seller before it ships out.

Awesome necklace & great customer service

My 14 month old son's necklace broke and I contacted the company and they sent a new one out immediately. He was teething at the time and was extremely fussy and miserable but once he got his replacement necklace he was like a new happy baby. I wondered if it was actually helping him and now after being without it a few days I have no doubt how much relief it gave him! We will never be without one!
